True Colors
True Colors is a companion quest for Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves’ 1.2 update. It involves solving an art forgery case to help a painter regain her confidence.
Starting the Quest
To start the quest, go to the Pioneer Association on the west side of Jinzhou. Complete the Moon-chasing festival quest first. At the gate, Zhezhi will call you to meet her at the Public Security Bureau for a dispute hearing about a painter coerced to create forged paintings. Teleport to Jinzhou’s Grand Library and go left.
The Hearing
During the hearing, Baichi, the head of the Shanyun Art Exchange, denies the accusations and defends his business. You must find evidence to support Zhezhi.
Investigating
Investigate and find clues about an Arcane Artist whose paintings come to life. Interview witnesses, then meet Shilang at the Tiger Maw mine and Chixia, who leads you to Mingyan. Fight TDs along the way.
Mingyan’s Studio
At Mingyan’s studio in Taoyuan Vale, find clues showing she was copying paintings to sell. The evidence leads to the Exiles’ camp. Determine they are lying and either eavesdrop on their conversation or fight them to get the truth. Disguise as Exiles to gather evidence and a voice note from Baichi.
Zhezhi’s Revelation
Zhezhi recalls her childhood, revealing she was the Arcane Artist. In court, she paints one last time, and you fight the Mourning Aix: Lamenting Shadow boss.

Completing the quest rewards you with:
