New Esports Jersey Highlighting Manchester City’s Unique Identity

Manchester City, the well-known English football club, has collaborated with PUMA to unveil their latest esports jersey for the 2024/2025 season. This new jersey features holographic details and a design inspired by Manchester’s 0161 dialing code, which is also printed inside the neckline of the club’s home kit.

Jersey Sponsorship and Personalization Options

The regular-fit jersey prominently displays the logo of Man City Esports’ sponsor, E&, also known as Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC. This UAE state-owned telecommunications company continues as the jersey sponsor for the third consecutive season. Additionally, fans can personalize their jerseys with the names of the club’s esports stars.

Debut at Fortnite Global Championships

Manchester City Esports’ new kit is set to make its first appearance at the Fortnite Global Championships in Texas. Players Joshua ‘Cold’ Butler, Iwo ‘Setty’ Zając, and Aidan ‘Threats’ Mong will be donning the new jerseys during the competition.

Growth of Manchester City’s Esports Division

Founded in 2016, Manchester City’s esports division has seen significant growth. The team includes notable EA FC players and ePremier League champions, Donovan ‘Tekkz’ Hunt and Matías ‘Bonanno’ Bonanno. Both players represented the club at the FC Pro 24 World Championship in Berlin earlier this year.

Expanding Fan Engagement and Activations

Manchester City has been actively engaging its fanbase through various esports initiatives. Recently, the club extended its partnership with the multinational esports organization Gen.G, focusing on joint activations ahead of the League of Legends World Championships. In 2022, Manchester City also partnered with FaZe Clan for a pop-up event at their stadium.

New Gaming Facility at Etihad Stadium

Earlier this summer, Manchester City opened a state-of-the-art gaming facility inside the Etihad Stadium. This facility provides a dedicated space for Man City Esports’ FC 24 and Fortnite players to practice, compete, and create content, further solidifying the club’s commitment to its esports division.
