In Disney Dreamlight Valley, gaining the trust of characters like Timon and Pumbaa involves completing various quests. One of these is the Relax! quest, which requires several tasks centered around relaxation and adventure.
Starting the Relax! Quest
To begin the Relax! quest, you first need to interact with Pumbaa in The Lion King Realm. He will guide you through a series of tasks that involve gathering materials and learning about relaxation.
Gathering Materials for the Hammock
Collecting Jungle Vines
Jungle Vines are scattered throughout The Lion King Realm. You’ll find them growing from small dirt patches. Use your Royal Shovel to dig them up, collecting two vines from each spot. Key locations include:
- Near a palm tree by the crafting station.
- By the river, where the Finding Old Friends quest took place.
- At the entrance to the jungle.
Obtaining Palm Tree Sap
Next, you need Palm Tree Sap. Head towards the crafting station and look for two sparkling trees with yellow sap. Interact with these trees to collect the sap.
Crafting and Placing the Hammock
With the Jungle Vines and Palm Tree Sap collected, proceed to the crafting station. Here, you can craft a Relaxing Hammock, found under the Functional Items category. Once crafted, place the hammock and have a chat with Pumbaa to move forward.
Exploring Napping Spots
Pumbaa will then ask you to find and test three napping spots around the area:
- Near the camp between two trees.
- By the river at the bottom of the log bridge ramp.
- Close to the oasis at the realm’s entrance.
After trying all the spots, return to Pumbaa by the camp.
Engaging in Activities: Watering Dried Mud
Equipped with your Royal Watering Can, water the dried mud piles near Pumbaa. Once the mud is ready, follow Timon and Pumbaa and step through each pile. After completing this task, chat with Pumbaa at the camp to learn about the next step.
Catching Jungle Fireflies
The quest requires catching Jungle Fireflies, which are located:
- Near the camp.
- Close to the river.
- Around the oasis.
These fireflies move quickly, so you need to approach them and press the interact button to catch them.
Cooking Roasted Jungle Fireflies
Once you have all the fireflies, head to the cooking station by the river. Use the fireflies to cook Roasted Jungle Fireflies. Share the dish with Pumbaa back at the camp.
Completing the Quest
Finally, take a photo with Timon and Pumbaa, listen to their conversation, and head to bed. Upon waking, the Relax! quest will be complete, bringing you closer to having Timon and Pumbaa join your village.
