“Discover All 4 Ancient Fragment Locations in Fisch: A Complete Guide”

Discovering Ancient Fragments in Fisch

In the world of Fisch, a recent update has introduced a new secret location, the Ancient Archives. To unlock its mysteries, players must first collect four Ancient Fragments. This guide will walk you through obtaining each fragment and using them to open the Ancient Archives’ door.

Finding the Ancient Fragments

To begin your quest for the Ancient Fragments, speak with the Shipwright NPC on your island and set sail for the Ancient Isles, situated between Snowcap Island and Mushgrove Swamp. Be cautious of the explosives scattered in the water as you navigate to your destination.

Deep Sea Fragment Location

The Deep Sea Fragment is the easiest to find. Upon reaching the island, head left to locate a waterfall. From there, use a zipline to reach the waterfall more efficiently. Once there, equip your diving gear. Plunge into the water and dive deep to find the fragment. After securing it, return to the surface for air.

Earth Fragment Location

The Earth Fragment is hidden within a secret cave on the Ancient Isles. Utilize the ziplines to ascend the mountain until you spot a cluster of flowers on the right side. After using the second zipline, head towards the Meteorist NPC and look for a pink flower. This flower marks the entrance to the cave concealed by foliage.

Inside the cave, you’ll find two fences at the ledge’s start. Venture inside to discover two items:

  • the Phoenix Rod
  • the Eclipse Totem

The Earth Fragment is also present, free for the taking. Be sure to acquire the Eclipse Totem, as it will be crucial for obtaining the Solar Fragment.

Solar Fragment Location

To find the Solar Fragment, climb to the peak of the mountain on the Ancient Isles. This requires using several ziplines and scaling trees to traverse large ledges. Upon reaching the summit, the Solar Fragment will be resting on the ground. However, it can only be collected during an Eclipse event. Fortunately, the Eclipse Totem obtained earlier can trigger this event, but only during daylight.

Ancient Fragment Location

The Ancient Fragment’s acquisition relies on luck, as it can be obtained through fishing. The best results have come from fishing in the pond near the waterfall, though it can also be found in other locations around the Ancient Isles. Persistence is key, as the fragment appears randomly while filling out your Ancient Isles bestiary.

Unlocking the Ancient Archives

With all four Ancient Fragments in your possession, return to the waterfall where the Deep Sea Fragment was collected. Use a glider to leap off the ledge and access a hidden area behind the waterfall. If you lack a glider, one can be purchased for $1,000 from the Merchant near the Ancient Isles Pond.

Inside the secret area, proceed straight and use the rope to descend to a platform with four Totems. Place each fragment into its corresponding Totem and turn them to activate the door. The process is more manageable with companions, but solo players can also succeed by standing on pressure platforms to unlock the door. Unlike the Depths door, the Ancient Archives door remains open permanently once unlocked.

In Fisch, the journey to uncover the Ancient Fragments and unlock the Ancient Archives is filled with exploration and challenges. With this guide, players can efficiently navigate the islands, collect the necessary fragments, and delve into the secrets of the Ancient Archives.
