MDK Supa Aims for Revenge in Upcoming Match Against NA

MAD Lions’ Supa Sets Sights on North America: ‘We Will Get Our Revenge’

MAD Lions Qualify for Worlds 2024

MAD Lions’ young ADC, David “Supa” Martínez García, is eager for a showdown against North America as the team advances to the Worlds 2024 Swiss stage. This marks a significant milestone for many of these emerging players as they prepare to compete against the top international League of Legends teams.

Supa’s Stellar Performance

In the qualification series against PSG, both teams had shaky starts, but MAD Lions emerged victorious. Supa delivered an outstanding performance, proving he deserves a spot among the elite. “I’m thrilled because this is the final step towards a dream of playing against the best players,” Supa shared in an interview.

European Struggles Against North America

Europe has faced challenges in recent clashes with North America. At Worlds 2023, MAD Lions lost to two NA teams, while G2 was upset by NRG. This year, Team Liquid defeated Fnatic, and G2 had a close match against FlyQuest at the EWC. Supa, who watched these games from the sidelines, is now determined to face North American teams. “I hope we get FlyQuest or Team Liquid; we will get our revenge. I can’t forget that EU loss to NA,” he said.

Focus on 100 Thieves

North American fans won’t see 100 Thieves battle MAD Lions KOI in the play-ins. If 100T wins against Hawks, they would face the winner of MDK vs. PSG. Supa hopes 100 Thieves doesn’t make it through. “I want 100 Thieves to go out. If we had lost today [against PSG], they’d be out. There’s no love lost between us and North America,” Supa stated.

Supa’s Take on NA Teams

When asked to describe North American teams in one word, Supa responded:

  • FlyQuest: Crazy
  • Team Liquid: Laneswap
  • 100 Thieves: Fighting

Anticipation for the Swiss Stage

The MAD Lions KOI and Supa are eager to avenge their region when the Worlds 2024 Swiss stage begins on October 3. Fans and players alike are waiting to see if they can turn the tide against North America this year.
